Biography

About Carolina Zeller Resin Works

Carolina Zeller was raised on a farm in rural South Texas and spent summers with her family, hiking the state’s parks. Surrounded by nature, she was deeply inspired by the natural world and all

its organic forms. In High School she discovered her aptitude for photography and while pursuing her undergraduate degree she gravitated toward sculpture as a means of artistic expression.

Carolina received her Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Houston-Clear Lake in 2019. She is a working artist and part-time studio art teacher. Her wood and resin sculptures reflect her primary inspiration. In her current body of work, she breaks down natural forms into representational shapes, to create works that impart the simplistic beauty of organic forms and lines. Filling these shapes with tinted resin allows them to take on a realistic quality which highlights a sense of tranquility and balance.
